Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, tax filings, and year-end reconciliations (W-2s, 1099s)
- Conduct payroll audits and ensure compliance with federal/state labor laws
- Implement process improvements to reduce payroll processing errors by 15%
- Collaborate with HR on benefits administration and employee onboarding
- Lead payroll system upgrades and process documentation initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification required
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, DOL, and state-specific payroll regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience with payroll audits and compliance reporting
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
