Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and union reporting
- Prepare and submit quarterly tax filings and year-end forms (W-2/1099)
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies with precision
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Maintain confidential employee records and audit trails
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP, QuickBooks, or similar payroll systems
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, FICA, and state wage laws
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
