Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ portfolio companies using QuickBooks Online
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Develop financial models and forecasting reports for VC-backed clients
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in tech/startup environments
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven ability to manage multi-company bookkeeping systems
- Strong understanding of SaaS revenue recognition principles
- Certification in QuickBooks Online required
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
