Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, regulatory shifts, and societal changes to forecast industry evolution through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing, climate tech, and neuro interfaces
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product development roadmaps
- Author forward-looking thought leadership for C-suite and investor audiences
- Establish KPIs for emerging technology adoption and innovation ROI
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions for anticipated market needs
- Monitor geopolitical and macroeconomic indicators affecting tech ecosystems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business strategy
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, biotech governance, or sustainable tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published research on technological singularity or ethical AI frameworks
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or SFI) preferred
