Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies, societal shifts, and market trends impacting 2026-2030
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership and board members
- Design innovation roadmaps that align emerging opportunities with company objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development
- Author annual 'State of the Future' reports and scenario planning documents
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
- Advise on ethical implications of emerging technologies and sustainable futures
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial outcomes
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking
- Strong background in AI, biotech, or sustainability trends
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (required)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major strategic foresight projects
