Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces impacting 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Produce actionable scenario plans and innovation roadmaps for executive leadership
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and business teams
- Author thought leadership publications and present at industry conferences
- Manage a portfolio of pilot projects testing future-focused solutions
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry experts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing long-term technology roadmaps
- Expertise in systems thinking and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology, or related field
- Published work in foresight or innovation publications preferred
- Experience managing innovation portfolios or R&D labs
