Responsibilities
- Develop and implement multi-year strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ horizons
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trends
- Produce scenario planning reports and risk mitigation strategies for board-level stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and marketing teams
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks
- Present future vision narratives at industry conferences and executive summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations and stakeholder alignment
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
