The Role:
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing forecasts, and providing strategic recommendations to senior management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate budgeting and reporting processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop complex financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making processes.
- Conduct variance analysis on a monthly basis to explain differences between actual results and budgets.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports and presentations to executive leadership.
- Collaborate with department heads to assist in the annual budgeting and long-term strategic planning cycles.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory reporting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3-5+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related area.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and financial modeling software.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a strong plus.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CFA designation is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
