Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models and forecasts to support long-term strategic planning and budgeting cycles.
- Prepare clear, concise, and compelling presentations for executive leadership regarding financial performance and projections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to understand business drivers and align financial strategies with operational goals.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial regulations, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or forecasting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros) and financial modeling.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate insights effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-financial stakeholders.
