Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Perform detailed variance analysis to explain deviations from budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare high-level management presentations and reports for executive leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiency and capital allocation.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide strategic recommendations based on data trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or budgeting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and financial modeling software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
- Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is a plus.
