We're seeking a meticulous Senior Bookkeeper to manage financial operations for our growing portfolio of clients. This hybrid role combines remote flexibility with in-office collaboration in our modern San Jose headquarters. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring financial accuracy while supporting businesses through their growth journeys.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing for multiple entities
- Implement and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks Online, Xero)
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assist with tax preparation and audit documentation
- Provide financial insights to clients and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with tech/SAAS clients
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA or EA certification preferred
- Expertise in month-end closing processes
- Strong analytical skills with problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication abilities for client interactions
- Proficient with MS Excel and accounting software integrations
