Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure tax compliance
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
- Maintain accurate QuickBooks databases
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Coordinate with auditors and tax professionals
- Train junior accounting staff on financial systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience in San Diego
- Advanced QuickBooks proficiency
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- CPA or QuickBooks certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
