Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Develop robust financial models to support long-term strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.
- Variance Analysis: Perform deep-dive variance analysis to explain differences between actual results and forecasts, identifying key drivers.
- Reporting: Prepare complex monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive leadership and board meetings.
- Process Improvement: Streamline financial processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Strategic Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial impact of new business initiatives and product launches.
- Compliance: Assist in the preparation of external audit schedules and ensure adherence to GAAP and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or investment banking.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and advanced financial modeling.
- Tools: Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, or SQL) is highly desirable.
- Certifications: CPA, CFA, or CMA designation is a significant plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders clearly.
