Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial modeling and forecasting for energy sector clients
- Analyze variance reports and prepare executive dashboards highlighting KPI trends
- Lead budgeting cycles across 15+ business units with $200M+ collective revenue
- Develop ad-hoc financial analyses supporting M&A initiatives and investment decisions
- Maintain compliance with SOX regulations and SEC reporting requirements
- Mentor junior analysts and optimize financial reporting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting with CPA/MBA preferred
- 5+ years progressive financial analysis experience in energy sector
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, Power Query) and Power BI
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and variance analysis
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SEC reporting standards
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder presentations
- Experience with Oracle Financials or SAP ERP systems
