Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, trends, and market conditions to produce comprehensive reports for executive leadership
- Develop financial models and forecasts supporting budgeting, strategic planning, and M&A activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cost structures and identify revenue opportunities
- Prepare detailed presentations for investor meetings and board of directors using advanced Excel and visualization tools
- Lead monthly closing processes ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses supporting business initiatives and risk assessments
- Maintain compliance with SEC regulations and internal financial controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in corporate or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, macros) and financial modeling
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Excellent presentation skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Certification (CMA, CPA, or CFA) highly desirable
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments with competing priorities
