Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data, trends, and metrics to support investment decisions and strategic planning
- Develop detailed financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses for 15+ client portfolios
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations highlighting key financial performance indicators
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource allocation and cost management
- Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and internal financial controls
- Lead quarterly business reviews with C-suite executives and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in Virginia Beach or Hampton Roads
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and financial modeling software
- Proven expertise in variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex data for diverse audiences
- Certification (CFA, CPA) or active pursuit considered
