Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance for diverse client portfolios
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures with precision
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks and Xero accounting systems
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to clients
- Collaborate with CPAs and tax professionals during audit cycles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks/Xero proficiency
- Expert knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with data visualization capabilities
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
- Experience with construction or tech industry accounting a plus
