Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data, market trends, and industry benchmarks to inform investment strategies and risk assessments
- Develop comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and valuation analyses for potential acquisitions
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for senior leadership and investment committees
- Lead due diligence processes, including financial statement audits and operational efficiency reviews
- Collaborate with portfolio companies to implement financial best practices and KPI tracking systems
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with SEC and FINRA requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in investment banking or private equity
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools
- Strong understanding of valuation methodologies (DCF, comps, precedent transactions)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex financial concepts
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects in deadline-driven environments
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting software
