Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, market trends, and economic indicators to forecast business performance
- Develop comprehensive financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and valuation projects
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for senior leadership teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to optimize financial processes
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions
- Support M&A activities through due diligence and financial evaluation
- Maintain compliance with SEC regulations and internal financial controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience
- CFA or CPA certification preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg Terminal, and financial modeling software
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) required
- Knowledge of Detroit's automotive and manufacturing industries preferred
