We're seeking a dynamic Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing fintech team in San Francisco. You'll drive strategic financial initiatives for our portfolio of innovative startups, transforming complex data into actionable insights that fuel growth and investor confidence. Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive financial models for valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysis
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions
- Prepare investor-grade reports and pitch decks for board meetings
- Lead budgeting and variance analysis processes across 15+ portfolio companies
- Collaborate with product teams to assess financial viability of new initiatives
- Maintain and optimize financial databases using SQL and Power BI
- Present findings to executive leadership and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of financial analysis experience in fintech or VC-backed startups
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and financial modeling tools
- Demonstrated experience with valuation methodologies (DCF, comps, precedent)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into narratives
- Excellent communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau for data visualization
