Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Build and maintain complex financial models to project revenue, expenses, and profitability for the upcoming fiscal years.
- Budget Management: Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to ensure accurate resource allocation and tracking.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct in-depth monthly and quarterly variance analyses to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Strategic Reporting: Prepare high-level executive presentations and reports that provide actionable insights to the C-Suite and Board of Directors.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in financial workflows and implement process enhancements to increase data accuracy and reporting speed.
- Compliance & Audit Support: Assist in external audits and ensure all financial reporting complies with GAAP and internal regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree (MBA) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or forecasting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and financial software such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts for non-finance stakeholders.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Certifications: CFA, CPA, or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Location: Must be willing to work from our Colorado Springs office or hybrid schedule.
