Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and forecasting for 15+ client portfolios
- Analyze variance reports and identify cost optimization opportunities across departments
- Prepare executive dashboards using Power BI and Tableau for quarterly board presentations
- Lead annual budgeting cycles with cross-functional department heads
- Perform due diligence analysis for M&A opportunities in Texas and New Mexico
- Maintain SOX compliance documentation and internal controls
- Mentor junior analysts and improve financial reporting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of financial analysis experience in corporate or investment banking
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros) and ERP systems
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction from Oracle databases
- Experience with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Professional certification (CPA/CMA) or actively pursuing
