Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures and reconcile GL accounts
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with 99.9% accuracy
- Generate financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage multi-state payroll processing for CA/NY teams
- Implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with NY-based CFO on strategic financial initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with multi-state entities
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Night shift availability (6 PM - 2 AM PST)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
- Experience with construction or healthcare accounting a plus
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
