As a Bookkeeper in this night shift role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, processing transactions, and providing critical support to our finance department. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process invoices, reconcile bank statements, and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with month-end close procedures.
- Reconcile credit card statements and bank accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax document preparation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding financial discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is a plus.
