Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness
- Contribute to month-end and year-end closing procedures under supervision
- Support internal audits and compliance documentation requirements
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/ERP) for data entry and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial discrepancies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience (internships accepted)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with knowledge of pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data
