Responsibilities
- Develop complex financial models for M&A transactions, valuations, and capital allocation strategies
- Analyze market trends, economic indicators, and competitor performance to inform investment decisions
- Prepare executive-level presentations translating complex data into actionable insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize portfolio performance and risk management
- Lead monthly forecasting cycles and variance analysis for $2B+ investment portfolio
- Drive process improvements in financial reporting automation and data visualization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or quantitative field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of financial modeling experience in investment banking, private equity, or asset management
- Expert proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, macros, Power Query) and Bloomberg Terminal
- Deep understanding of valuation methodologies (DCF, LBO, comparable analysis)
- Proven ability to synthesize complex data into clear executive narratives
- Strong SQL and Python skills for data extraction and analysis
- FINRA Series 63/66 or willingness to obtain
