Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for 15+ clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Oversee tax filings and compliance for S-Corporations and LLCs
- Implement QuickBooks solutions and optimize accounting workflows
- Lead quarterly financial reviews with client stakeholders
- Maintain digital filing systems with 100% audit readiness
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Deep understanding of GAAP and tax compliance
- Proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
