Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting and budgeting purposes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive leadership.
- Collaborate with department heads to create annual operating budgets and strategic plans.
- Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between actual results and forecasts.
- Assist in the preparation of external financial statements and regulatory filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3-5+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or forecasting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables) and financial software (SAP, Oracle, or Hyperion).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CFA designation is a plus.
