We're seeking a detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to transform complex data into actionable insights that shape our company's growth trajectory. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work 3 days from our modern downtown office while collaborating with cross-functional teams remotely. You'll play a pivotal role in our FP&A process, working closely with C-suite executives to optimize financial performance and identify new market opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive financial modeling and forecasting for revenue streams and operational expenses
- Analyze financial performance metrics and variance reports to drive strategic initiatives
- Develop detailed dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and Excel for executive presentations
- Collaborate with business units to build annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis for M&A activities and market expansion opportunities
- Maintain and optimize financial reporting systems to ensure data integrity
- Present findings to executive stakeholders with clear recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in tech/VC/finance sectors
- Expert proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SQL with advanced modeling capabilities
- Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into business insights
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to non-financial stakeholders
- Experience with Salesforce and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and driving cost optimization
