Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive financial plans including retirement, estate, tax, and investment strategies for high-net-worth clients
- Cultivate and maintain deep client relationships through personalized portfolio management and regular financial reviews
- Drive business growth through strategic networking, referrals, and community engagement in San Jose's tech corridor
- Utilize advanced financial planning software to deliver data-driven investment recommendations
- Collaborate with internal experts in estate planning, tax optimization, and risk management
- Maintain FINRA Series 7, 66, and CA insurance licenses with ongoing continuing education
- Lead educational workshops on financial wellness for corporate partners and community groups
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in financial advisory services with proven track record of client retention
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFP or CFA designation strongly preferred
- Valid FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses; CA Life & Health insurance license
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable plans
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining high-net-worth client portfolios ($1M+ AUM)
- Proficiency in financial planning software (e.g., MoneyGuidePro, eMoney Advisor)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to market trends and economic indicators
- Entrepreneurial mindset with history of achieving sales and growth targets
