Responsibilities
- Oversee daily general ledger entries and perform accurate month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Assist in the preparation of financial audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, GAAP, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and improve reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in a high-volume or corporate setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines during night shifts.
