Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements in compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial integrity
- Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Manage tax preparation processes and ensure regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize financial reporting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (including VLOOKUP and PivotTables)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial data to non-finance stakeholders
