Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow projections
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with SOX compliance focus
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for financial reporting systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Manage audit processes and serve as primary liaison for external auditors
- Optimize accounting workflows using ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP expertise preferred)
- Mentor junior accountants and improve team financial literacy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or CPA candidacy required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Power Query)
- Experience with ERP implementation and optimization (NetSuite/SAP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage competing deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
