Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead GAAP-compliant financial statement preparation for internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow management
- Conduct internal audits and implement robust internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal tax regulations and state reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in full-cycle accounting and SOX compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
