Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements in compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with accuracy
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for financial operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
- Manage SOX compliance documentation and audit preparation
- Mentor junior accountants and improve departmental workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in financial services
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting and complex reconciliation processes
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SAP, and financial reporting software
- Demonstrated experience with multi-entity consolidations and intercompany transactions
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
- Experience with regulatory reporting (SEC, FINRA) a plus
