Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness before payment authorization.
- Maintain accurate vendor files and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) to manage transactions.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and issues.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume environment.
