Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable processes with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements monthly.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Process payroll for part-time staff and contractors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the company’s accounting software (QuickBooks).
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and audits.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a part-time or contract capacity.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
