Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with meticulous attention to detail
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Manage SOX compliance documentation and audit readiness processes
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Mentor junior accountants and provide expert guidance on technical accounting matters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and Excel advanced functions
- Demonstrated experience with multi-currency transactions and international accounting standards
- Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and internal control frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven track record of improving financial reporting processes
