Responsibilities
- Manage complex month-end closing processes and financial statement preparation
- Lead SOX compliance initiatives and internal control documentation
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and financial forecasting
- Oversee audit processes and liaison with external auditors
- Optimize accounting systems and process automation
- Mentor junior accounting staff and develop training materials
- Ensure GAAP compliance and regulatory reporting accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA required
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and SAP
- Solid understanding of multi-state tax compliance
- Proven experience with SOX 404 controls testing
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong remote work communication and collaboration skills
