Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing with a high degree of accuracy.
- Build rapport with customers by addressing their financial needs and providing superior customer service.
- Cross-sell bank products and services such as savings accounts, credit cards, and online banking tools.
- Assist with lobby operations, including answering phones, managing queues, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily settlement reports to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Adhere to all bank security policies, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues efficiently, escalating complex matters to supervisors when necessary.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of cash handling and customer service experience in a retail or banking environment.
- Strong math skills with the ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch schedules.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive financial information.
