Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with commentary for senior stakeholders
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Manage complex reconciliations across balance sheet accounts
- Oversee tax compliance and liaise with external auditors
- Develop financial models and variance analysis for business forecasting
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvement initiatives
- Ensure SOX compliance and internal controls documentation
Qualifications
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent professional certification
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in financial accounting
- Expertise in UK GAAP and IFRS compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Sage/Oracle)
- Proven experience managing audit processes and SOX controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
