Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end month-end and year-end close process with accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Perform variance analysis on monthly management accounts and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to HMRC and other regulatory bodies.
- Maintain the general ledger and conduct thorough reviews of journal entries and reconciliations.
- Assist in the annual audit process and address queries from external auditors.
Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in a financial accounting role.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software (Sage, Xero, or SAP).
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and pivot tables.
- Strong understanding of UK tax regulations and financial compliance standards.
- Valid right to work in the United Kingdom.
