Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS standards
- Lead month-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Manage complex reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and intercompany transactions
- Develop financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Collaborate with audit teams to facilitate smooth external examinations
- Mentor junior staff and implement process improvements in financial reporting
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent international qualification
- Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in financial accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VBA knowledge desirable
- Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA or Oracle Financials
- Strong understanding of UK tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
