Responsibilities
- Review and analyze incoming credit applications to determine risk levels and approve appropriate credit limits.
- Prepare and maintain accurate credit reports, financial statements, and risk assessments for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor existing accounts for signs of financial distress, policy violations, or changes in creditworthiness.
- Collaborate with the underwriting and lending teams to ensure accurate loan approvals and portfolio management.
- Utilize financial modeling software and spreadsheets to track credit exposure and trends.
- Communicate with clients regarding credit decisions and account status.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, or financial underwriting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and financial modeling tools.
- Strong understanding of credit scoring models, lending regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data clearly.
