Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports with risk ratings and recommendations for loan approval
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential default
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations (Regulations B, Z, and FFIEC guidelines)
- Develop and maintain credit risk models for portfolio optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business-related field (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, RiskCalc)
- Credit Risk Management Certification (CRCM or equivalent) preferred
- Deep understanding of GAAP and commercial lending underwriting principles
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
