Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to evaluate borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for senior management review
- Monitor loan portfolios and recommend mitigation strategies for delinquent accounts
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure competitive credit solutions
- Develop and maintain automated credit scoring models using Excel and SQL
- Ensure compliance with federal lending regulations (Regulation B, Fair Credit Reporting Act)
- Present credit recommendations to credit committee with clear data-driven insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience with financial institutions
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools
- Strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and industry-specific risk factors
- Certification (CRCM, CCE, or CFA) highly desirable
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with remote work protocols and digital collaboration tools
- Proven ability to manage complex credit portfolios in diverse industries
