Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations and risk assessments for commercial loan portfolios
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure complex financing solutions
- Monitor existing credit exposures and identify early warning indicators
- Stay current on regulatory compliance (FDIC, OCC, and state banking regulations)
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for high-exposure accounts
- Maintain accurate documentation in credit origination systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Expertise in financial statement analysis and cash flow modeling
- Proficiency with credit underwriting software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, RiskSpan)
- Strong Excel skills with advanced formula and modeling capabilities
- Industry certification (CRCM, CMB) highly desirable
