Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions with precision, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments
- Deliver exceptional service by proactively identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate banking solutions
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and adhere to strict security protocols
- Open new accounts, explain product features, and assist with digital banking enrollment
- Resolve customer inquiries efficiently while maintaining compliance with banking regulations
- Participate in branch initiatives to promote community engagement and financial literacy
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless branch operations and service quality
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year cash handling experience in customer service role
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts simply
- Proficiency with banking software and basic Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Pass background check and fingerprinting requirements
- Knowledge of banking regulations (Regulation E, BSA) preferred
