Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and collateral to assess borrower risk
- Prepare detailed credit memos and recommendations for loan committees
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure optimal financing solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Stay current on industry trends and credit policy updates
- Present findings to senior management through clear data visualizations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and lending regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB, etc.) preferred
- Experience with credit scoring models and risk assessment tools
