Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations for commercial and industrial loan portfolios
- Monitor existing credit facilities for compliance and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit risk
- Develop automated reporting tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
- Credit certification (CRCM, CCE, or equivalent) preferred
- Experience with credit scoring models and risk assessment frameworks
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
